§ 5A-7. EXEMPTIONS.
   (a)   The setback provisions of §§ 5A-2 through 5A-4 shall not apply to any structure for which a building permit has been issued by the h Building Official, or for which a final site plan or a final development plan has been submitted to or approved by the Town, prior to January 20, 1986, the effective date of this chapter.
   (b)   The setback provisions of §§ 5A-2 through 5A-4 shall not apply to the following:
      (1)   Any water service laterals which are not more than inch in diameter.
      (2)   Basic 110 volt, 20 amp maximum, electrical service.
   (c)   The setback requirements defined in § 5A-2 shall not apply to any modification, maintenance or repair to any existing structure within limits of the existing foundation which does not require, involve or include any additions to, or repair or modification of; the existing foundation of that structure. Specifically excluded from this exemption are seawalls and any additions or enclosures added, constructed or installed below the first dwelling floor or lowest deck of the existing structure.
