PARALLEL REFERENCES
§ 51-1. DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   GARAGE SALES. The casual, non-business related sale of personal property at the premises of the resident. Personal property offered for sale cannot be items purchased individually or in bulk from a third party specifically for the purpose of resale at the garage sale. GARAGE SALE includes the words CARPORT SALE, YARD SALE and other titles indicating the same activity, but shall not include sidewalk sales, which are strictly prohibited under the code.
