§ 30-47. DISPOSITION OF COLLECTED PARKING FINES.
   (a)   Except as otherwise provided in this section, all money received by the Court Clerk or the County Court as a result of a fine for a parking citation issued by the town shall be paid to the town.
   (b)   In those instances where payment is remitted to the Court Clerk for a county or town parking citation prior to mailing of notice to the registered owner by certified mail, return receipt requested, pursuant to § 30-44(f), the Court Clerk shall deduct as costs $2 from the penalty imposed by such citation. In those instances where payment is not remitted to the Court Clerk for a town parking citation prior to notice being mailed to the registered owner by certified mail, pursuant to §§ 30-44(f), the Court Clerk shall deduct as costs $5 from the penalty imposed. In those instances where a hearing is held, court costs of up to $10 may be assessed in addition to the penalty imposed.
