(a) As a result of a referendum conducted among town employees and having satisfied other procedures and conditions, the effective date was duly established by the Commission as December 1, 2006. All officers and employees choosing to participate in the program and any officers and employees hired subsequent to that date shall be compulsory members of the Florida Retirement System.
(b) The town does hereby adopt the terms, conditions, requirements, reservations, benefits, privileges, and other conditions, thereunto appertaining, of the Florida Retirement System, for and on behalf of all officers and employees of its departments and agencies to be covered under the agreement.
