§ 11-52. HOURS OF DUTY; COMPENSATION; EMPLOYMENT.
   (a)   The hours of duty of members of the Police Department shall be set by the Chief of Police as conditions may require.
   (b)   The compensation of the members of the Police Department shall be set by contract or resolution of the Town Commission.

   (c)   No person shall be a law enforcement officer and a member of the Police Department unless said individual shall be first determined by the Chief of Police and the Town Manager to have the required moral character, education, training and certification, all as required by the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission and as set forth in Chapter 943, Florida Statutes and Chapter 11B, Florida Administrative Code.
