Commissioners holding office or duly elected to office at the time of adoption of this Charter shall continue to serve their respective terms of office for which elected. Their duties as established by the previous Charter will no longer pertain, but will be assigned as prescribed under Article II, section 2.10 subsequent. The Vice-Mayor will continue to serve as such until the completion of his current term of office, after which time the provisions of this Charter will apply.
