COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL ZONES
COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL ZONES
The purpose of the C-1 commercial zone is to provide local commercial service needs and to restrict incompatible uses which may be better located in community or highway oriented shopping areas due to size of the shopping center, location within the community, residential neighborhood areas being served and other factors. The following uses are allowed in the C-1 zone:
Accessory uses to uses allowed.
Automobile service station.
Boarding and rooming houses.
Clinics.
Commercial and private off street parking lots for passenger automobiles.
Government or public utility facilities of a nonindustrial character.
Mortuaries.
Motel.
Nursery school; school for students of art, dancing, dramatics, music, business or secretarial work.
Radio, television and FM broadcasting stations, including aerials when made an integral part of a principal building.
Retail stores and retail or personal service.
