ADOPTING ORDINANCE
ORDINANCE NO. 225
AN ORDINANCE FOR REVISING, CODIFYING, AND COMPILING THE GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MELBA, IDAHO.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MELBA, that:
Section 1. From and after the date of passage of this ordinance the municipal code of the city of Melba, prepared by Sterling Codifiers, Inc., and hereby approved and accepted shall be the official code of all ordinances of a general and permanent character of the city. Pursuant to Idaho Code 50-903 empowering any city to revise, codify, and compile its ordinances.
Section 2. There is hereby adopted, as a method of perpetual codification, the loose leaf type of binding together with continuous supplemental service whereby each newly adopted ordinance of a general nature, amending, altering, adding to, or deleting provisions of the municipal code is identified by the proper catch line, and is to be inserted in the proper place in each of the official copies.
Section 3. That such ordinances as so compiled shall be cited as the "Melba City Code".
Section 4. At least one (1) official copy of said official municipal code of the city of Melba shall at all times be on file and available for inspection in the office of the clerk.
This ordinance passed by roll call vote of the city council this 11th day of August, 2008, and approved by the mayor on this 11th day of August, 2008.
