(a) All parks and recreation lands, including parking areas under the jurisdiction of the Parks and Recreation Department shall open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m. with the exception of the Jump Playground at Memorial Park which shall close at 10:00 p.m. No person shall enter or remain in a City Park or recreation land after the prescribed closing time. The Parks and Recreation Director and the Chief of Police may waive this section by issuing written permission in advance of the permitted activity. Written permission may be granted for civic and service groups, associations, etc., but not individuals.

(b) No vehicle may be left in a City park or on recreation lands after closing. Vehicles left in a City park or on recreation lands after closing may be towed, at the expense of the owner of such vehicle. (Ord. 210-98. Passed 11-9-98.)
