§ 117.09 TAXICAB STANDS.
   When signs are erected indicating a motor vehicle parking area as a taxicab stand, it shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle other than a licensed taxicab in any area designated by ordinance as a taxicab stand, except that the operator of any passenger vehicle may temporarily stop in any such stand for the purpose of and while actually engaged in the loading or unloading of passengers.
   (A)   The first designated parking place for a motor vehicle east of the Illinois Central Railroad Station on the north side of Broadway Avenue is hereby designated as a taxicab stand for the use of a taxicab licensed to do business in the city.
   (B)   The first designated parking place for a motor vehicle west of 19th Street on the north side of Western Avenue is hereby designated as a taxicab stand for the use of a taxicab licensed to do business in the city.
