8-8-14: EMERGENCY:
If it is determined by the City Administrator that an emergency exists by reason of the continuing presence of a nuisance that constitutes a threat to one (1) or more individuals or to the public, the City may perform any action reasonable designed to abate such nuisance without prior notice or hearing. The City shall assess the costs as provided in sections 8-8-15 and 8-8-16 of this chapter and subject to the provision of section 8-8-15 of this chapter, after notice to the property owner under the applicable provisions of sections 8-8-9 through 8-8-11 of this chapter, and opportunity for hearing as provided in section 8-8-17 of this chapter.
