§ 154.087 REEXAMINATION AFTER FAILURE.
   If an applicant fails to pass an examination, he or she may reapply for re-examination after the expiration of 30 days and upon payment of another examination fee. Applications shall be limited to no more than two per year.

§ 154.088 LICENSE EXPIRATION, RENEWAL; FEES.
   All licenses shall expire on December 31 and shall be renewed annually upon application of the licensee and payment of the fee to the City Clerk. Any license not renewed prior to December 31 shall expire on December 31 and may not be renewed without examination.

§ 154.089 ACCOUNTING; FEES.
   Examination and license fees shall be turned over to the City Clerk and from such fund shall be paid the costs of examination, issuance of licenses, permits and enforcement of this subchapter.

§ 154.090 RECOGNITION OF LICENSES FROM OTHER CITIES.
   Any electrical contractor or journeyman electrician who comes to the city from another city or town that has similar licensing standards and who produces credentials showing proper accreditation as an electrical contractor or journeyman electrician shall be excused from the examination required under this subchapter, and a license shall be issued to him or her upon payment of the required license fee, if the Electrical Inspector approves his or her credentials.

§ 154.091 LICENSE REVOCATION, SUSPENSION.
   The Electrical Inspector may revoke or suspend the license of any holder issued under provisions of this subchapter if the holder has substantially violated the provisions of this chapter. The holder shall surrender such license upon receipt by certified mail of written notice of revocation or suspension. A person whose license has been revoked shall not be permitted to apply for another license within one year from the date of revocation.

§ 154.092 APPEALS FROM ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR ACTION.
   In the event any person shall feel aggrieved by any action of the Electrical Inspector, he or she may appeal from such action to the City Council by filing written notice of his or her appeal within ten days from the date of such action. The Council shall give the appealing party and the Electrical Inspector five days written notice by certified mail of the date, time and place of hearing. All interested persons shall be given opportunity to be heard at such hearing and the Council shall affirm, modify or overrule the action of the Electrical Inspector.

§ 154.093 LICENSE NOT TRANSFERABLE.
   It shall be unlawful for any license holder to transfer his or her license or allow it to be used, directly or indirectly by any other person.

§ 154.999 PENALTY.
   Anyone who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to the penalties in § 10.999(A) of this code of ordinances. In addition thereto, violation of any provision of this chapter shall be a municipal infraction.
