Sec. 166.
If the said board shall fail to decide upon any matter submitted to it within fifteen days after such submission, its decision shall be deemed unnecessary; provided, however, that the time for such decision may be extended by the Council by resolution. (Added, 1925.)
In the event that the immediate removal or relocation of any existing work of art owned or controlled by the City is deemed necessary by the board or officer of the City having the charge or custody thereof, the Board of Municipal Arts Commissioners shall within two days after notice in writing from such board or officer, approve or disapprove such removal or relocation, and in case said Board of Municipal Arts Commissioners shall fail to so act within two days after the receipt of such notice, it shall be deemed to have approved of the same.
