EDITOR'S NOTE: The Safety-Service Director is authorized, from time to time, to enter into collective bargaining agreements with recognized representatives of Police and Fire Department personnel, which agreements provide for compensation, benefits and other incidents of employment. Copies of the latest relevant legislation and agreement may be obtained, at cost, from the Clerk of Council.
Ordinance 160-92, passed July 2, 1992, authorized the Safety-Service Director to enter into an agreement with the Madison County Sheriff for the provision of mutual emergency assistance. Copies of such ordinance and agreement may be obtained, at cost, from the Clerk of Council.
