§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   The penalty for violation of any provision of this title for which no other penalty is given shall be as provided in § 10.99 of this code.
   (B)   The penalty for violation of any provision of this title shall be a forfeiture as hereinafter provided together with the cost of prosecution and penalty assessment imposed as provided in Wis. Stats. §§ 345.20 through 345.61 and 814.63.
      (1)   Uniform offenses. Forfeitures for violations of any provisions of Wis. Stats. Chapters 341 through 348 and 350 adopted by reference in § 70.01 of this code shall conform to forfeitures for violation of the comparable state offense, including any variations for second offense.
      (2)   Special local regulations. The forfeiture for violations of sections of this title not adopting provisions of Wis. Stats. Chapters 341 through 348 and 350 shall be not less than $5 nor more than $200 for the first offense and not less than $10 nor more than $500 for the second offense within two years, except that the forfeiture for all violations of Chapters 72 and 75 shall be as follows:
         (a)   The forfeiture for violations of §§ 72.02(A) and 72.06, or of Chapter 75, Schedule I of this code shall be not less than $5 nor more than $100 if paid within five days of issuance. If not paid within five days the forfeiture shall be not less than $10 nor more than $100.
         (b)   The forfeiture for violations of § 72.04 of this code shall be not less than $10 nor more than $100 if paid within five days of issuance. If not paid within five days the forfeiture shall be not less than $15 nor more than $100.
         (c)   The forfeiture for violations of § 72.05 of this code shall be not less than $20 nor more than $100 if paid within five days of issuance. If not paid within five days the forfeiture shall be not less than $25 nor more than $100.

         (d)   The forfeiture for violations of § 72.03 of this code shall be not less than $10 nor more than $100 for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day on which a violation of any provision of this section occurs or continues.
