ADOPTING ORDINANCE
ORDINANCE NO. 9 - 03
AN ORDINANCE TO RECODIFY
THE GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE
VILLAGE OF LINDEN, IOWA COUNTY, WISCONSIN
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Linden, Wisconsin, do ordain as follows:
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient and necessary that the general ordinances of the Village of Linden be recodified and that additions and amendments be made to the Village Code, and
WHEREAS, such additions and amendments have now been incorporated into the Village Code, and
WHEREAS, as required by Section 66.0103, Wis. Stats., a copy of such Code has been on file and open for public inspection in the office of the Village Clerk for not less than 2 weeks and notice thereof was given by posting in accordance with Sec. 61.50, Wis. Stats.,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Linden, Wisconsin, do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances in book form entitled "Code of Ordinances of the Village of Linden, Wisconsin" shall be and hereby is adopted as the general ordinances in and for the Village of Linden, Wisconsin.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. There being no newspaper published in the Village of Linden, after the adoption and approval of this ordinance, this Board hereby provides pursuant to Sec. 61.50, Wis. Stats., that in lieu of newspaper publication that the Village Clerk be directed and she hereby is directed to post a copy of this ordinance in at least three public places in the Village of Linden and make, file and record proof of such posting as provided in such statute and that said ordinance shall be effective the day after the filing and recording of such proof.
