Sec. 10-2. - Same—Products from counties where no inspection facilities—Application, issuance, revocation.

(a)   The permit provided for in this section shall apply to all manufacturers, distributors or producers of dairy products, ice, ice cream, candy and bakery products, beverages and other foods manufactured or produced in places located in counties where there are no inspection facilities by full-time health departments or federal inspectors inspecting such products.

(b)   Before any of the above food products can be sold or offered for sale in the urban county, each such above-mentioned producer or distributor or manufacturer shall apply to the health officer for a permit, which shall be issued by the health officer provided all requirements of sections 10-2, 10-3, 10-4 and 10-5 are complied with.

(c)   The above permit shall be revoked by the health officer at any time there is a failure on the part of the producer, manufacturer or distributor to comply with the requirements set out in this section and sections 10-3 through 10-5.
