§ 37.14 OFFICER IN COMMAND WHILE IN ATTENDANCE AT FIRE.
   While the Fire Department is in attendance at a fire within the corporate limits of the city, the Fire Chief, or in his absence, the next ranking officer of the Department shall be the officer in command. All other fire departments present and assisting shall be under the supervision and control of such officer in command.

§ 37.15 AID AND ASSISTANCE TO SISTER CITIES; FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICTS.
   It is the intent of the city and its Fire Department to aid and assist its sister cities or fire protection districts in fire prevention and firefighting if called upon for aid and assistance, but nothing in this section shall be construed to impose a duty upon the Department beyond the discretion of the Fire Chief.

§ 37.16 PROTECTION OF THE COUNTY.
   The Fire Department may use its best efforts to protect life and property in Grayson County.

§ 37.17 FEES FOR REPETITIVE SERVICES.
   In the event that the City Fire Department responds to more than two calls within any calendar year for the purpose of extinguishing a fire at the same property address, the owner or owners of the real property and the occupant thereof shall jointly and severally be responsible to pay to the city a fee in the sum of $250 as reimbursement for the cost of each such additional response by the Fire Department, as well as such additional costs as may reasonably be shown to have been incurred by the city in responding to such call.

§ 37.99 PENALTY.
   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter, for which no penalty is otherwise provided, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $500 for each offense or violation.
