§ 37.07 MEMBERS TO NOTIFY CITY CLERK/TREASURER OF DEPENDENTS.
   Each member of the Fire Department shall immediately provide the City Clerk/Treasurer with the name and relationship of each spouse, child or parent who is dependent upon the member for support, and shall immediately notify the Clerk/Treasurer of any change in such dependency.

§ 37.08 POSITIONS CREATED BY DEPARTMENT MEMBERS; ELECTION OF OFFICERS.
   The members shall provide for such other officers as are required by the Fire Department's need and shall elect or select such members from the ranks of the Department to fill the positions created by the Department; nothing in this section shall affect the command of the Fire Chief over the Department in the exercise of its primary duties.

§ 37.09 DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT.
   The Fire Department shall engage in fighting fires within the corporate limits of the city and such other places as directed by the Fire Chief or as emergency dictates; the Department shall engage in training under its Chief or officers to keep it at its present level of effectiveness or for its improvement; the Department may engage in activities conducive to fire prevention and detection and such other activities of a civic and characterable nature.

§ 37.10 OPERATION.
   The Leitchfield Fire Department shall operate under the Leitchfiled Fire Department Standard Operating Procedures which shall establish the governing and procedures of the Department, the providing of a Fire Chief, two Assistant Fire Chiefs, all other officers, qualifications of members, and methods of electing or selecting officers and members.

§ 37.11 OBEDIENCE TO ORDERS OF COMMANDING OFFICERS.
   No member of the Fire Department or members of the other fire departments within the corporate limits of the city in attendance at a fire shall neglect or refuse to obey the orders of the officer in command at such fire or any Fire Chief of a fire department present and assisting.

§ 37.12 SPECTATORS TO OBEY FIREFIGHTERS; HINDERING DEPARTMENT PROHIBITED.
   No spectator shall, if ordered to vacate the area by an officer of the Fire Department or any peace officer of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, remain within the area ordered to be vacated; and no spectator shall, unless requested by a member of the Fire Department, assist or aid in the performance of firefighting, nor shall such spectator hinder or obstruct the Department in the effective performance of its duties.

§ 37.13 ENTERING FIREHOUSE.
   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to enter the Fire Department house or any place where equipment and apparatus of the Department is stored, at any time, except on Fire Department or other city business.

§ 37.14 OFFICER IN COMMAND WHILE IN ATTENDANCE AT FIRE.
   While the Fire Department is in attendance at a fire within the corporate limits of the city, the Fire Chief, or in his absence, the next ranking officer of the Department shall be the officer in command. All other fire departments present and assisting shall be under the supervision and control of such officer in command.
