No spectator shall, if ordered to vacate the area by an officer of the Fire Department or any peace officer of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, remain within the area ordered to be vacated; and no spectator shall, unless requested by a member of the Fire Department, assist or aid in the performance of firefighting, nor shall such spectator hinder or obstruct the Department in the effective performance of its duties.

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to enter the Fire Department house or any place where equipment and apparatus of the Department is stored, at any time, except on Fire Department or other city business.

While the Fire Department is in attendance at a fire within the corporate limits of the city, the Fire Chief, or in his absence, the next ranking officer of the Department shall be the officer in command. All other fire departments present and assisting shall be under the supervision and control of such officer in command.

It is the intent of the city and its Fire Department to aid and assist its sister cities or fire protection districts in fire prevention and firefighting if called upon for aid and assistance, but nothing in this section shall be construed to impose a duty upon the Department beyond the discretion of the Fire Chief.

In the event that the City Fire Department responds to more than two calls within any calendar year for the purpose of extinguishing a fire at the same property address, the owner or owners of the real property and the occupant thereof shall jointly and severally be responsible to pay to the city a fee in the sum of $250 as reimbursement for the cost of each such additional response by the Fire Department, as well as such additional costs as may reasonably be shown to have been incurred by the city in responding to such call.
