The Town Attorney’s duties shall be as follows:
(A) Attend all meetings of the Council unless excused by the Council;
(B) Act as the parliamentarian;
(C) When requested to do so, draft all ordinances and resolutions and review all ordinances, resolutions and documents presented to the Council;
(D) Give opinions upon questions of town procedure, form and law to any member of the Council and other town officials, when requested;
(E) To prosecute all cases before the Municipal Court when a jury trial is demanded or the defendant is represented by an attorney; and
(F) Defend the town against all civil suits.
