460.01 SPEED LIMITS GENERALLY.
   State traffic laws regulating the speed of vehicles upon all streets which are a part of the State highway system shall be applicable upon all such streets within the City. On all City streets not a part of the highway system of the Commonwealth, no vehicle shall proceed at a rate of speed greater than twenty-five miles per hour, unless otherwise posted.

460.015 SPEED LIMITS IN ALLEYS.
   Speed limits for all City alleys (i.e. roadways named as "Places" and "Courts") will be limited to a maximum of ten miles per hour.

460.02 PROHIBITED OPERATION.
   No driver of any motor vehicle shall:
   (a)   Drive through any procession, such as funerals and parades, which are properly indicated and identified as such;
   (b)   Drive through and upon an area which has been barricaded and obstructed;
   (c)   Drive through a school safety patrol flag or area where school traffic patrols have indicated, by flag or otherwise, that drivers of vehicles are to stop;
   (d)   Operate the vehicle upon City streets under slippery conditions created by snow and ice, without winter chains or treads, as the case may be; or
   (e)   Open a car door into another lane of traffic.

460.99 PENALTY.
   (EDITOR'S NOTE: See Section 422.99 for general Traffic Code penalty if no specific penalty is provided.)
   Any person violating Section 460.01 is guilty of a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of thirty-five dollars ($35.00). Any person exceeding the maximum speed limit by more than five miles per hour shall pay an additional fine of two dollars ($2.00) per mile for each mile in excess of five miles per hour over the maximum speed limit.
