(A) Building permit fees for new buildings, additions, alterations to existing buildings and miscellaneous structures, including garages, sheds, accessory buildings, and fire repair, shall be based on the following schedule and calculated as described in § 151.021.
(1) Building permits:
Less than $1,000 valuation, $25.
Over $1,000 but not over $10,000, $25.
(Plus $7 for each additional $1,000 or part thereof over and above the first $1,000 valuation.)
Over $10,000 but not over $50,000, $75.
(Plus $3 for each additional $1,000 or part thereof over and above the first $10,000 valuation.)
Over $10,000, $195.
(Plus $2 for each additional $1,000 or part thereof over and above the first $50,000 valuation.)
(2) Garages (detached or attached), $25.
(3) Swimming pools:
Below ground, $60.
Above ground if filter is used, $35.
(B) Walls, when used as fences, shall be erected, altered or repaired under a building permit with fees calculated as specified in § 151.021.

(A) The fees for temporary permits issued to begin construction of foundations or site work or other preliminary construction work pending issuance of regular full permit shall be as follows:
(1) For residential work, $25.
(2) For commercial or industrial work minimum, $50.
Or may be determined by using the construction cost for the work involved as specified in § 151.021.
(B) Temporary structure permits. The fee for temporary permits for construction related to temporary structures, such as barricades, fences, public obstructions, construction shanties, storage sheds, equipment yards or trailers shall be for each unit, $25.
(C) Other temporary permits. The fee for temporary permits for maintaining or using other temporary structures or facilities or the temporary use of property as authorized by the Building and Safety Division, the Building Board of Appeals, the Zoning Board of Appeals, or the City Council shall be for each permit, $25.

(A) Duplicate of plans. The fee for duplicate sets of approved plans shall be $3 for each sheet, but in no case shall exceed 50% of the fee charged for the original permit. The permit fees for increased costs of the project based on the construction cost as per § 151.023 with a minimum fee of $10 for residential plans and a minimum of $20 for commercial plans.
(B) Duplicate of revised permits. The fee for duplicate or revised permits shall be as follows:
(1) Residential permits, $10 plus $5 for each $1,000 of increased construction cost or fraction thereof, if any.
(2) Commercial permits, $20 plus $5 for each $1,000 of increased construction cost or fraction thereof, if any.

(A) Water fee. The water fee for construction work estimated at $500,000 or less shall be 0.03% of the estimated construction cost. The water fee for construction work estimated at a cost in excess of $500,000 shall be $150 plus 0.01% of the estimated cost in excess of $500,000. Applications are available from the Building Division and approved by the Department of Public Service.
(B) Use of hydrant fee. The permit is available at the fire station at a charge of $50.

The permit fee for tree planting, based on the requirement of one tree between sidewalk and curb for each 40 feet or major fraction thereof, shall be $45 per tree. Any owner or contractor who finds it inadvisable or impossible to plant the required number and species of trees because of weather or other considerations may pay to the city the sum equal to the number of trees required multiplied by the unit fee per tree and such sum shall be used for the cost of purchasing and the labor for planning such tree or trees when the season of the year will permit it to be done, and shall be determined to have been met for the purpose of issuance of a certificate of occupancy for the premises involved.

(A) The permit fee for concrete walks, drives, patios and other flatwork shall be computed at the rate of $3 for each 100 square feet of concrete to be installed, with a minimum fee of $25.
(B) Sidewalks and approaches on public property. The permit fee for sidewalks and approaches on public property shall be computed at the rate of $.30 per lineal foot of sidewalk or apron for a side drive to be constructed; provided, however, that in no case shall such permit fee be less than $25.

The permit fees for paving all parking lots shall be as follows:
(1) 5,000 square feet or under, $75.
(2) Each additional 1,000 square feet, $5.
(B) The above fees are in addition to fees for catch basins, manholes, sewer lines, approaches or curb cuts.

The permit fees for the demolition of buildings or structures shall be as follows:
(A) Residential garage, $35.
(B) Structures 1,000 cubic feet or under, $50.
(C) Structures over 1,000 cubic feet, $50, plus $1 per 1,000 sq. ft. over 1,000 square feet.

The permit fees for moving a building or structure from its location on a parcel of land to some other location with or without passing over or going upon a public street or way shall be as follows:
(A) Structure moved one-quarter mile or under, $150.
(B) Over one-quarter mile, $150, plus $50 for each additional one-quarter mile.
