Any person who, with the intent to mislead a law enforcement officer as to his identity, knowingly gives a false name, age, date of birth or address to a law enforcement officer in the lawful discharge of his official duties shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. (1999 Code)
Any person who falsely represents himself to be a public officer, sheriff, deputy sheriff, justice of the peace, coroner or notary public, or other law enforcement officer of any character whatsoever, and in such assumed character arrests or detains or attempts or threatens to arrest or detain, or otherwise intimidates or searches the person, building or other property of any person, or obtains money, property or anything of value, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
