§ 113.17 USE AND OPERATION OF MODEL ROCKETS.
   (A)   The Chief of the Fire Department may adopt reasonable rules and regulations for the use of model rockets. The design, construction, and use of model rockets shall be reasonably safe to persons and property. Evidence that the design, construction, and use of model rockets is in accordance with the applicable standard specified for the section of the Fire Prevention Code, as amended, shall be evidence that such design, construction, and use provides reasonable safety to persons and property.
   (B)   This section shall not apply to any firework classified as a “bottle rocket,” which is prohibited under state law and in the city.
