2-4-3: CAPTAIN, LIEUTENANT OR SERGEANTS OF POLICE:
The Chief of Police may establish positions of Captain, Lieutenant or Sergeants of police, and establish rules applicable thereto. (Ord. 2910, 6-4-2001)
2-4-4: SPECIAL OFFICERS:
No person shall act as a special police officer, special detective or other special police officer for any purpose whatsoever, except upon the written authority of the Chief of Police and for a period not to exceed ten (10) days without a special order to that effect from the City Manager. (Ord. 2910, 6-4-2001)
2-4-5: JURISDICTION:
Each and every police officer of the City is hereby authorized to make arrests of persons charged with or committing crime(s) within the limits of the City and within five (5) miles thereof, and along the lines of water supply of the City in accordance with State law. (Ord. 2910, 6-4-2001)
