No permit or approval made pursuant to the village building code shall be valid for a period of more than one year after the date of issuance. An extension of time may be granted by the village upon request, provided, however that no such extension shall exceed eighteen (18) months from the original date of issuance of the permit. Permits for fences, driveways and smaller projects when issued may be initially valid only for six (6) months as appropriate for the project. (Ord. 2009-17, 11-9-2009)
