Any all-terrain vehicle with four or more wheels and with a combustion engine having a piston or rotor displacement of 200 cubic centimeters or more may be licensed as a motorcycle pursuant to SDCL § 32-5 to be used on a public highway. Prior to being licensed, the all-terrain vehicle shall meet the necessary light, brake, and other vehicle accessory requirements provided by SDCL §§ 32-15, 32-17, and 32-18 that are applicable to motorcycles.

(A) No person shall ride any bicycle upon or along any public sidewalk of any street, nor upon the footpath of any bridge.

(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
(2) The owner of any snowmobile shall be guilty of violating § 74.16 if any person operates the owner’s snowmobile in violation of § 74.16 with the permission of said owner and, upon conviction, the owner shall be punished by a fine of not more than $50 for the first offense, and not more than $100 for any second or subsequent offense.
(D) Any person violating the provisions of § 74.31 shall, upon conviction thereof, pay a fine of not less than $5, nor more than $50 for each offense.
