(A) No person shall operate a snowmobile in the following manner:
(1) At a speed that is greater than is reasonable or prudent under the circumstances;
(2) In any reckless way so as to endanger a person, or property of another;
(3) Without a functioning muffler complying with of SDCL § 32-15-17, as may be amended from time to time; or
(4) At a speed greater than the posted speed limits in the city.
(B) Any snowmobile on the public streets or public property in or of the city, operated during hours of darkness, shall display a lighted head lamp and tail lamp in accordance with the requirements of the state and SDCL § 32-17, as may be amended from time to time, as may have been approved by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles in the state at least equivalent to that required for motorcycles.
(C) The operator of a snowmobile on the public streets or public property in or of the city shall obey all municipal ordinances pertaining to the operation of a motor vehicle.
(D) Any law enforcement officer shall have the authority to enforce the provisions of this subchapter.
