1311.02 CHANGE IN USE OR OCCUPANCY PERMIT.
   (a)   No person, firm or corporation shall occupy a vacant building within
the City for the purpose of establishing a commercial, retail or industrial business without first obtaining a change in use or occupancy permit from the Building Commissioner.
 
   (b)   When applying for such a permit, the applicant shall furnish all information requested by the Commissioner regarding the premises to be occupied
and shall pay for the required inspections. These inspections shall include plumbing, electrical, fire protection and interior and exterior inspections of the building. All violations found shall be corrected and brought up to code standards before a permit is issued.
 
   (c)   Fees for the four inspections shall be five dollars ($5.00) per inspection. A fee of ten dollars ($10.00) shall be charged for re-inspection, when it is found that a person, firm or corporation calling for an inspection has not completed the work, or that violation still occurs or exists.
 
   (d)   Change of occupancy and certificate fee shall be as provided in Section 1311.21 payable to the Commissioner. (Ord. 95-1976. Passed 9-13-76.)
