(a) Any City Council person, Council President, or any other elected or appointed official who is given, or presented City-issued property, such as electronic equipment, or a copy of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Garfield Heights for use in the course of his or her employment shall be responsible for its return upon the leaving of City employment, retirement, dismissal, expulsion, or end of term of office or the like.
(b) Whoever violates the provisions of Section 143.11 shall be held liable for the expense of said property and all costs of collection of amounts due to the City.
