§ 51.26 NOTICE OF NON-COMPLIANCE.
   (A)   Notice of non-compliance. If the town determines that a residence is not in compliance with the terms of this subchapter at § 51.25 of this chapter, notice shall be given to the property owner of record specifying the date by which he or she must hook up to the town water. Said notice shall be at least 30 days before the date of compliance.
   (B)   Violation. If the property owner does not comply with this subchapter and the notice given within 30 days of the date of the notice, the owner shall be in violation of this subchapter.

WATER SERVICE PIPES
§ 51.40 REQUIREMENTS.
   No person, firm or corporation shall run any water service pipe or make any connection to the water distributing system for any purpose whatsoever who shall have not first obtained from the Town Council a license for running water service pipes.

§ 51.41 LICENSE APPLICATION.
   The application for license for running water service pipes shall be endorsed by the Town Engineer, or in the absence of the Town Engineer, by the Town Attorney, who shall have satisfied himself or herself as to the responsibility and ability of the applicant or applicants, for doing such work.

§ 51.42 BOND.
   Upon the granting of such license, and before the same shall have been issued, the licensee shall file with the Town Clerk a bond in the sum of $1,500, which bond shall be approved by the Mayor and Town Attorney, conditioned for the protection of the town against all losses or damages which may occur on account of such license, or the carelessness or negligence of the licensee or his, her or their employees during the time such license is in force, it being understood that a new bond shall be required for the issuance of any renewal license.
