729.04 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   Whoever displays for public patronage or keeps for operation any juke box shall be required to obtain a license to do so from the Mayor or his agent, upon payment of a license fee. Application for such license shall be made to the Mayor upon a form to be supplied by him for that purpose.

729.05 APPLICATION INFORMATION.
   Application for a license to display a juke box for public patronage shall contain the following information:
   (a)   Name and address of the applicant, age, date and place of birth.
   (b)   Prior conviction of the applicant, if any.
   (c)   Place where the juke box is to be displayed or operated and the business conducted at that place.
   (d)   Description of the juke box to be covered by the license, mechanical features, name of the manufacturer and serial number.
   No license shall be issued to any applicant unless he is over twenty-one years of age and a citizen of the United States.

729.06 APPLICATION DUPLICATE AND INVESTIGATION.
   Application for a license to display a juke box for public patronage shall be made out in duplicate, one copy being referred to the Chief of Police and the other copy to the Building Inspector.
   (a)   The Chief of Police shall investigate the location wherein it is proposed to operate the juke box, ascertain if the applicant is a person of good moral character and either approve or disapprove the application.
   (b)   No license shall be issued to any applicant unless it is approved by the Chief of Police and the Building Inspector.

729.07 LICENSE FEE AND EXPIRATION.
   Every applicant, before being granted a license, shall pay to the Mayor or his agent a license fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per juke box for the privilege of operating juke boxes or maintaining them for operation. Each license shall expire on December 31 next following the date of issuance.
   The payment of such fee by any person, firm, corporation or association enumerated in Section 729.01(b) shall be deemed compliance with this section.

729.08 LICENSE DISPLAY AND TRANSFERABILITY.
   (a)   The license herein provided for shall be posted permanently and conspicuously at the location of the juke box in the premises wherein the same is to be operated or maintained to be operated.
   (b)   Such license may be transferred from one juke box to another upon application to the Mayor or his agent to such effect, and the giving of a description and the serial number of the new juke box. Not more than one juke box shall be operated under one license and the applicant for a license shall be required to secure a license for each and every juke box displayed or operated by him.
   (c)   If the licensee moves his place of business to another location within the City, the license may be transferred to such new location upon application to the Mayor or his agent giving the street and number of the new location. The new location shall be approved by the Chief of Police and the Building Inspector in the same manner as provided in Section 729.06.

729.09 HOURS OF USE RESTRICTED.
   No person holding a license under this chapter shall permit the playing of juke boxes between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. of any day.

729.10 LICENSE REVOCATION; HEARING.
   Every license issued under this chapter is subject to the right, which is expressly reserved, to revoke the license should the licensee directly or indirectly permit the operation of any juke box contrary to the provisions of this chapter, the ordinances of the City or the laws of the State. If, after a hearing, the licensee is found to be guilty of any violation, such license may be revoked by the Mayor after written notice to the licensee, which notice shall specify the ordinance or law violation with which the licensee is charged. Ten days' notice of the hearing shall be given the licensee. At such hearing, the licensee and his attorney may present and submit evidence of witnesses in the licensee's defense.
