Every applicant, before being granted a license, shall pay to the Mayor or his agent a license fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per juke box for the privilege of operating juke boxes or maintaining them for operation. Each license shall expire on December 31 next following the date of issuance.
The payment of such fee by any person, firm, corporation or association enumerated in Section 729.01(b) shall be deemed compliance with this section.
