717.01 DEFINITION.
   As used in this chapter, "public dance" means any dance to which the public generally may gain admission either with or without payment of a fee for such admissions.

717.02 PERMIT REQUIRED.
   No person shall give or permit to be given in any building, room or place in the City, any public dance without first obtaining a permit from the Mayor and paying the fee provided in Section 717.03. No permit shall be issued for such public dance in a building, room or place which is unsafe or which is not constructed and maintained in accordance with laws of the State and the City.

717.03 FEE.
   The applicant shall pay the sum of one dollar ($1.00) at the time the application for the permit is filed.
