The owner, manager or operator of any place in which smoking is permitted pursuant to Section 971.04 may voluntarily provide and designate no smoking areas to accommodate those persons annoyed or distressed by smoke. Violation of voluntarily designated no smoking areas is not subject to the penalty provisions of Section 971.99.
