§ 16-103.   Prohibited Conduct.
   No person in attendance at a park shall:
      A.   Injure, deface, remove, cut or damage any of the trees, plants, shrubs, turf, buildings, structures, signs, fixtures, or any other property of the Township located within the park.
      B.   Litter any area of the park with garbage, paper, bottles, cans, or other waste material; nor dispose of the same in any way except in receptacles designated for such purpose. Dumpsters and trash cans at park locations are for park trash only. No trash, garbage or refuse generated from any location other than the park or recreational areas shall be placed in the containers located in the Township parks and recreational areas. No dumping is allowed in park dumpsters and trash cans.
      C.   Kindle or maintain any fire in the park except in fireplaces/grills or areas specially designated for that purpose and located by authority of the Township. Grills and fires are not to be left unattended and shall be thoroughly extinguished upon departure. Hot coals, ashes and other byproducts of open fires shall be disposed of in the facilities provided for such purpose. Firewood must be brought in and not taken from trees onsite.
      D.   Remove or move any bench, picnic table or other appliance without permission of the Township.
      E.   Injure, deface, destroy, or remove any notice, rule or regulation posted at any place within the park by authority of the Township; nor shall any notice or placard be posted within the park other than by authority of the Township. Posting of signs of any kind is prohibited without prior approval of the Parks & Recreation Director. Renters may use a temporary banner/sign as long as it follows the rental agreement.
      F.   Set up any booth, table or stand for the sale of any article or service whatsoever within the limits of the park without permission of the Township; distribute, sell, service or rent any services or commodity or solicit for any purpose without permission of the Township. It is unlawful to conduct any type of business activity in any Township park without first receiving written permission or permit according to the Parks Department Rules and Regulations. "Business activity" shall include, but not be limited to the following:
         1.   Sale of food, beverages, merchandise or services;
         2.   Providing classes, or other forms of instruction for a fee or other valuable consideration; or
         3.   Organization of recreational events such as 10k run/walk, sports tournaments, or charity fundraiser; or
         4.   Use of park facilities for advertising any business product or service.
      G.   Operate, stop or park any vehicle, bicycle or other means of conveyance except in areas where permitted or designated by proper authority of the Township, or to operate the same in a reckless or negligent manner or in excess of any posted speed limit or in such a manner as to become a nuisance to other area users. The speed limit in all parking areas shall not exceed 15 miles per hour.
      H.   Operate commercial vehicles, unless providing authorized services.
      I.   Operate a roller vehicle within park boundaries unless specific permission of the Township. Should permission be granted, persons operating any roller vehicle shall do so in a safe and responsible manner and shall always yield the right-of-way to pedestrians.
      J.   Consume any intoxicating beverage or controlled substance of any kind; no person shall enter the park in an intoxicated state or otherwise be under the influence of an intoxicating beverage or controlled substance.
      K.   Discharge without legal justification any firearms, or carry or discharge any slingshots, firecrackers, fireworks or other missile propelling instrument or explosives or arrows, or other dangerous weapons which have such properties as to cause annoyance or injury to any person or properties, unless permission has been granted by the Township in designated areas; police officers in the performance of their duties will be exempt from these provisions.
      L.   Swim, hit golf balls, engage in archery, camp, engage in finding buried objects with metal detectors (magnetometer, side scan sonar, other metal detecting device or sub-bottom profiler), or participate in any other form of recreation, sporting endeavor or pastime, except in those areas which may be designated from time to time for that purpose by the Township.
      M.   Disrobe or change clothing except in buildings or facilities made available for that purpose.
      N.   Disturb the peace by any conduct so as to annoy any other person of normal sensitivities using the park for recreation purposes. No person shall willfully make or cause to be made any loud, boisterous, or unseemly noise or disturbance, to the annoyance of any other person of normal sensitivities, including but not limited to nearby residents. Use of any amplification devices and microphones is prohibited unless the activity is sponsored by the Township. Music is allowed in rental buildings whereas the sound does not disturb other park goers or nearby residents.
      O.   Operate a snowmobile, minibike, motorcycle, or any vehicle, recreational or otherwise. Vehicles must park in designated parking areas, unless granted permission by the Township. Motor vehicles using the facilities in violation of this provision may be ticketed by NYCRPD or may be removed at the owner's expense.
      P.   Use threatening, abusive, insulting, profane or obscene language or words.
      Q.   Commit any disorderly, illegal, or immoral acts.
      R.   Hold any public meeting or rally with more than five persons or engage in any marching or driving as members of a military, political or other organization without permission of the Township, which requires a statement of information, including the name of the organization, its purpose, number of persons expected to be invited, expected duration and name(s) or person(s) in charge.
      S.   Disobey a proper order of a police officer or Township representative or disobey or disregard or fail to comply with any rule or regulation, warning, prohibition, instruction, or direction given by an authorized person and posted or displayed by sign, notice, bulletin, card, poster, or when notified or informed as to its existence by the Township or an authorized person.
      T.   Allow pets to run at large. All dogs must be currently licensed and vaccinated. Dogs must be leashed or under owner's control at all times. Dog owners are responsible for injuries by their dog to others. Aggressive dogs are not permitted.
      U.   Injure or kill wild or domestic animals.
      V.   Fly model airplanes, hot air balloons, drones or launch rockets without written permission of the Township, proper credentials, and insurance.
      W.   Smoking (including but not limited to, cigarettes, cigars, illegal drugs, and vaping) in Township park facilities at all times, except in designated smoking areas.
      X.   Use of animals at events held at a Township recreation facility without prior permission of the Parks & Recreation Director or their designee. The person responsible for such animals shall be responsible for the cleaning of the area of the facility used following any such event.
      Y.   Feed all wild animals including but not limited to Canada geese, ducks, squirrels, deer, etc.
      Z.   Use inflatable structures on park property without written permission of the Parks & Recreation Director or their designee.
