Any person violating any of the provisions of this Article shall upon conviction thereof before any magisterial district judge or issuing authority, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $50 and costs of prosecution and in default of payment of such fine and costs, to undergo imprisonment for a period of not more than 10 days. A separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
