§ 10-805.   Penalties.
   The police officer involved shall determine in each instance whether a violation of this Part has occurred by failure to pay the fee required by § 10-802. Upon determining that a violation has occurred the officer shall impose a penalty of $50 upon the violator in addition to the amount of the unpaid fees with payment due within 10 days of the date of the notice. Notice of the penalty assessment or a non-traffic citation shall be served upon the violator by personal service or by first class mail. Failure to pay the assessed penalty within the period specified in the notice or citation shall result in the commencement of an enforcement proceeding in a district magisterial court. Upon being found liable for such violation, the violator shall pay a penalty not to exceed $600 plus all court costs, including reasonable attorney fees incurred by Dover Township.
