242.16 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CHIEF AND POLICE SERVICES.
   (a)   Position Established. There is hereby established a position to be known as the Administrative Assistant to the Chief and Police Services.

   (b)   Duties. The duties incident to the position of the Administrative Assistant to the Chief and Police Services shall be to render secretarial and clerical assistance to the Police Department and to perform such other and additional duties and functions as the Mayor, the Police Chief, and the Deputy Police Chief may from time to time require or designate. He or she shall work eight hours per day, 40 hours per week.

   (c)   Appointment and Term. The Administrative Assistant to the Chief and Police Services shall be appointed and shall serve as prescribed in Section 230.01 .
   (d)   Uniform Allowances. The Administrative Assistant to the Chief and Police Services, in addition to salaries and compensation provided, shall be provided a uniform allowance as prescribed by Section 242.22 .
