(A) Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Traffic Code for which no penalty is otherwise provided, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined for each violation any sum not exceeding $100. In addition to the foregoing penalty, any police officer, upon discovering any vehicle parked or stopped, in violation of this Traffic Code, may remove the vehicle or cause the same to be removed by any city garage or other city property or any public garage where such vehicle shall be released only upon payment for the cost of towing such vehicle away from the place where it was illegally parked or stopped, together with costs of storage.
(B) Any person who shall violate § 72.01 by stopping, standing or parking a vehicle on the roadway side of any parked vehicle, commonly known as double parking, may in lieu of answering summons and appearing in court on charge of violation, appear at the City Building within 24 hours thereof and pay the sum of $5.
(C) This division applies to Chapter 77, Schedule IX. If deposited within 48 hours of the time stated in the notice, the charge for overtime meter parking shall be the sum of $3 if not deposited or paid within 48 hours, the charge will be $10 ; if not deposited or paid within 72 hours, the charge will be $15, resulting in a total maximum payment for overtime meter parking in the sum of $15. The Police Department shall keep an accurate record of all notices issued and all payments received.

(E) This division applies to § 72.30 and Chapter 77, Schedule IX. If deposited within 48 hours of the time stated in the notice, the minimum charge for overtime zone parking (exceeding the various time limits as prescribed in Chapter 77, Schedule IX) shall be the sum of $5; if not deposited or paid within 48 hours the sum of $10 shall be charged; if not paid or deposited within 72 hours the sum of $15 shall be charged . In addition, overtime meter parking (expired meter) is subject to the penalties prescribed in division (C) above. The Police Department shall keep an accurate record of all notices issued and all payments received. Failure of such owner or operator to make such payment within five days shall render him subject to the provisions provided in division (F) below.

(F) This division applies to Chapter 77, Schedule IX. When an owner or operator has received a parking violation which has not been paid within the required time limits, the Police Department shall issue a written notice to such owner or operator, notifying him of such delinquencies. The amount of the fines stated shall be paid within ten days of the receipt of such notice: if not paid by the owner or operator within ten days of the receipt of such notice, a charge of $20 per ticket (violation) shall be assessed and an additional notice shall be issued to such operator or owner; if the owner or operator fails to pay the delinquent fines and penalties within ten days after the mailing of the third notice, an additional sum of $5 shall be charged. The total penalties for each parking violation assessed under this section shall not exceed $25

(G) In addition to all other penalties now provided by law, any person, firm or corporation who shall habitually violate the ordinances of the city as they pertain to parking meters, shall pay additional penalty as follows:
(1) There is hereby established a fine of $25 to be applied to any person, firm or corporation receiving ten parking violation citations in a 30-day period within a single calendar year.
(2) For a second receipt of ten parking violation citations in a 30-day period within a single calendar year, there is hereby established a fine of $50.
(3) For a third receipt of ten parking violation citations in a 30-day period within a single calendar year, there is hereby established a fine of $100.

(H) Any person violating any provision of § 72.15 shall, upon conviction, be fined in any sum not less than $25 nor more than $50. (Ord. 34-1992, passed 10-12-92)
