ADOPTING ORDINANCES
ORDINANCE NO. 13-1994
AN ORDINANCE REVISING, REFORMATTING AND ADOPTING THE 1994 EDITION OF THE CRAWFORDSVILLE CITY CODE
WHEREAS, the City of Crawfordsville, Indiana (City), has heretofore adopted and from time to time amended the Municipal Code of the City of Crawfordsville, Indiana Code; and,
WHEREAS, it is prudent and desirable to revise and reprint the Code in order to incorporate amendments made to this present date of June 13, 1994; and
WHEREAS, this revision does not require publication of notice and may become effective immediately upon passage,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ESTABLISHED AND ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Crawfordsville, Indiana, that:
1. That at the direction of the Common Council all amendments to the Municipal Code of the City of Crawfordsville, Indiana since March 1985 have been included in a newly printed and reformatted edition of the Municipal Code of the City of Crawfordsville, Indiana, which printed and reformatted revision is hereby adopted as the official City Code of the City of Crawfordsville, Indiana including Chapter 23 of the 1985 Code edition which was amended and adopted by the Common Council on April 11, 1994 but which has yet to be printed and included in this revised edition and which is hereby designated as Title XV, Chapter 150 of this revised edition.
2. That the Clerk-Treasurer of the City is directed to deliver this latest revision, to the following: Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Indiana; Superior Court of Montgomery County, Indiana and County Court of Montgomery County, Indiana; Crawfordsville Public Library, Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana; Wabash College Library, Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana; Crawfordsville High School Library, Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana; Tuttle Junior High School, Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana; all elected City officials and all appointed heads of departments of the City of Crawfordsville; not less than two (2) copies to the City of Crawfordsville Clerk-Treasurer.
3. The Clerk-Treasurer is authorized and directed to cause such additional copies of the Code to be prepared as she shall deem prudent, to be retained in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer for sale and delivery to individual purchasers upon request, for the sum of $45.00 per copy or such higher price as the publisher may hereinafter establish. Individual chapters may be copied at the rate of $.25 per page, not to exceed $25.00 per chapter.
ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of Crawfordsville, Indiana is the 11th day of July, 1994.
