17.100.030 Plans – Requirement.
   The applicant for a building permit, when subject to requirement of this chapter, shall file with the Planning Director an application for Board approval of his or her proposed development or building relocation and shall submit with the application a site plan, exterior elevations and such other data as required by the Director to assist the Board in evaluating the proposed building or structure. The form of the application shall be prepared by the Director. Preliminary drawings may be submitted for review and, if approved by the Board, shall serve as a guide in further consideration of the same proposed building or structure. Final plans and elevations shall be drawn to scale upon substantial paper or cloth and shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate the nature and extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of the code. The first sheet of each set of plans shall give the street address of the work and the name and address of the owner and the person who prepared them.
