The contractor for the work called for in the contract documents in consideration of the price bid and the payments received or to be received, shall be required to guarantee that all work done and all material used in the project under contract are in all respects first-class, of the proper kind and quality and that the work has been done and is being done in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents and that the improvement will remain in good condition for and during the entire period of guarantee, which shall begin upon the date of final acceptance by the director in writing, of the construction work, and continue for a period of twelve (12) months thereafter or as otherwise provided in the supplemental general conditions.
