The mitigation plan shall include a program for monitoring construction, and for assessing a completed project by a riparian corridor/wetland specialist. A protocol for the schedule of monitoring and reporting shall be implemented that verify the performance standards are being met. The period of monitoring shall be adequate to verify that the performance goals and objectives are being met and will vary at the discretion of the Director of Building and Housing, or his or her designated authority. Monitoring would never be less than three (3) years.
