No person conducting a public dance or public dance hall or any manager or other agent of such person shall permit any person to attend or take part in any public dance who has not reached the age of eighteen (18) years, unless such person is accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No person shall represent himself or herself to have reached the age of eighteen (18) years in order to obtain admission to a public dance hall or public dance, or be permitted to remain therein when such person in fact is under eighteen (18) years of age.
