All licenses granted under the provisions of this chapter shall expire on the 30th day of June in odd numbered years, unless sooner suspended or revoked by the Commissioner of Assessments and Licenses, provided, however, that any license issued pursuant to this chapter between the effective date of this section and June 30, 1993 shall expire on June 30, 1995, unless sooner revoked by the Commissioner.
