(a) No City official or officer of the Department of Public Safety or the Division of Police shall order or authorize the use of mounted police officers for any law enforcement activity in connection with or related to a labor dispute, nor shall any mounted police officer while on duty as a mounted police officer use his or her mount for any law enforcement activity connected with or related to a labor dispute.
(b) Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be subject to departmental disciplinary action.
