§ 129.04 Duties of Chief of Bureau of Street Lighting
   The Chief of the Bureau of Street Lighting shall determine, within the appropriation made by Council for street lighting, the number, size and location of all street lights and he or she shall authorize the installation, removal, transfer or relocation of street lights. He or she shall supervise the lighting of gas lamps in the parks and prepare specifications for contracts for the operation and maintenance of such lights; he or she shall participate in negotiating all contracts between the City and the privately owned public utilities for street lighting; he or she shall have authority to make or cause to be made surveys of street lighting when requested to do so by Council. He or she shall have such other and further duties as may from time to time be required of him or her by the Director of Public Utilities, the Commissioner of Light and Power or Council.
