The following regulated devices subject to the provisions of this chapter shall only be used, managed or operated by a stationary engineer who is licensed in accordance with Chapter 4-344:
1. Steam engines and steam boilers with an output capacity in excess of 50 boiler horsepower or intended for operation at a pressure in excess of 10 psig.
2. Hot water boilers intended for operation at a pressure in excess of 160 psi or temperatures in excess of 250°F (121°C).
